All touring caravans and campervans must be correctly insured.

Bell tents occupancy

Each bell tent has a maximum occupancy of four people. No extra guests are permitted in the bell tents.

Bell tent fire safety

Be aware that some of the equipment provided to you during your stay, including log burning stoves and fire pit barbeques, could be dangerous if misused. Fire safety instructions for the safe use of these appliances can be found in the welcome folder. This must be read before the use of appliances. These appliances are used at the guests’ own risk. A fire extinguisher, fire blanket and a carbon monoxide detector will be provided in each bell tent. Only wood and fuel purchased from New House Caravan Park is permitted to be used in the log burning stoves and firepit barbeques. When using the firepit, the lid must be in place to minimize escaping sparks, embers and ashes.

The bell tents have fireguards provided for the log burning stoves. The fireguards must be used at guests’ discretion.

No candles or incense to be burned in the bell tents.

A starter pack of complimentary wood and firelighters will be provided with each bell tent booking. Additional wood can be purchased from the office within the office opening hours.

Bell tent pitches

The bell tent field has uneven ground, with limited lighting. Guests must provide their own torches to enable them to see in non-daylight hours, both in the field and immediately around the bell tent, allowing them to see protruding pegs and guy ropes. The bell tents are pitched upon a wooden deck platform, lit with spotlights to highlight any steps.

The bell tents are pitched in a field where livestock graze in non-season times. There is a signed barbed wire fence round the perimeter of the field and a signed water trough for livestock. Do not climb perimeter fencing or allow children to play in the water trough.

Dogs

All dogs must be kept on leads when on the site and not cause nuisance to others. It is the dog owners’ responsibility to clean up after their own dog. Exercise dogs off the site.

New House Caravan Park is a quiet and peaceful site. We allow couples and families only. No groups or parties.

Behave in an appropriate manner. Any anti-social behaviour or anyone causing nuisance will be asked to leave New House Caravan Park without refund.
